I've been so blessed throughout my career to meet and work with so many wonderful people. I've enjoyed the opportunity to work with so many people in so many settings. Some people tease me about a sort of "intellectual wanderlust" -- a reference no doubt to my eclectic and varied interests. Many of the positions I've accepted have been, by their very definition, time-limited: my time in the Governor's Office and my tenure as the leader of Nevada's Census 2000 Campaign, for example. My career has offered me countless opportunities for intellectual stimulation and personal satisfaction. My ultimate goal is simple: to have a positive impact on my community. The people I meet and the lives I touch are the signposts of my career.
